What's worse than seeing somebody who has food stuck in their teeth? Nothing. And with your great new smile, rejuvenated self-confidence, and renewed attitude, you don't want to flash your pearlies at someone with a big hunk of gunk stuck in them. Right now, while your braces are still new and you're still getting used to them, you should start the GREAT habit of brushing after every meal. |

It's not that difficult, and psychologists have said that anything that you can do consecutively for 30 days becomes a habit for life. Well, here's your chance. Get a pocket toothbrush and take it with you to school, work, or wherever! The little brushes are so small, they'll fit into your pocket or purse with no problem. If you can't carry the toothpaste, at least you can get rid of the food particles left behind. Of course, brush with the paste at home for several minutes. Use a soft brush, and floss every day. You only have to floss the teeth you want to keep! And remember a little saying, "Be true to your teeth, or one day, they'll be false to you!" |
