Paul L. Ouellette . DDS, MS, ABO
Paul L. Ouellette . DDS, MS, ABO is a board certified orthodontist that has practiced for more than 30 years. He received his college education and Bachelor of Science Degree at Texas A&M University. He studied dentistry at Loyola University in Chicago, Illinois where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Certificate of Orthodontic Specialty, and Masters Degree in Oral Biology. His masters thesis was on the subject of Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ), entitled "Electronic Auscultation and Sonographic Audio-Spectral Analysis of the Temporomandibular Joint." Doctor Ouellette was one of the pioneers of sonographic analysis of TMJ sounds and results of his studies have been presented on numerous occasions, nationally and internationally.
In addition to his TMJ research, Dr. Ouellette has published numerous papers on the subject Orthognathic Surgery (Orthodontic Surgery). Results of his research and several of his treated patients appear in professional publications, national magazines, and in the book, CHANGE YOUR SMILE by the famous Atlanta clinician, Dr. Ronald Goldstein.
Dr. Ouellette has offices in Florida and Georgia. He participated as a member of the Atlanta Craniofacial Team involved in the correction of developmental deformities (severe orthodontic problems). Dr. Ouellette served as an Assistant Professor of Orthodontics at Emory School of Dentistry in Atlanta, GA.
Dr. Ouellette has also served as a Contributing Editor of the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and a reviewer for the Journal of the American Association of Orthodontists.
A concerned and interested individual, Dr. Ouellette has been involved in many civic activities. In 1974, he was honored by Mayor Maynard Jackson, as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young People in Atlanta." In addition to being a member of The American Dental Association, Dr. Ouellette belongs to numerous professional organizations, including The American Association of Orthodontists. In Atlanta, he has served as President of the Cobb County Dental Society. Dr. Ouellette is a consulting staff member of Winter Park Hospital in Winter Park, Florida.Dr. Ouellette is a family man with four children and three grandchildren. His two sons are currently studying dentistry and will soon join the practice. In his spare time you can find Dr. Ouellette spending time with his family, playing tennis, enjoying water sports, or running in a 10K race or a 26.2 mile marathon. He has completed seventeen national and international marathons in the last 15 years. In 1996 he competed in the 100th running of the "Original Marathon" in Athens, Greece.
